Variety’s ‘Actors on Actors’ Racks Up Record-Smashing 145 Million Social Media Views
variety.comKatcy Stephan Another season of Variety’s beloved interview series, “Actors on Actors,” has come to a close – with a bang. Season 19 is officially the most successful rollout in franchise history, racking up over 145 million views across the brand’s social media platforms.
This round of interviews featured stimulating conversations between the biggest stars in this year’s Oscar race. Variety’s social team, led by editor Katcy Stephan with coordinator Rachel Seo, posted over 400 clips across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X to support the conversations.
TikTok alone garnered over 111 million views, more than Season 18 earned across all platforms combined in June 2023’s record-breaking run.
Season 19’s pairings included Emily Blunt and Anne Hathaway in a “Devil Wears Prada” reunion, Taraji P. Henson and Jeffrey Wright, Greta Lee and Andrew Scott and a “Barbenheimer” mashup that set the internet ablaze with Margot Robbie and Cillian Murphy.
