Uber rival Bolt to launch in Greater Manchester this week

Bolt, the second largest ride hailing app in the UK, is set to launch in Manchester and Salford ahead of the Easter weekend.

Already used by four million customers in the UK, Bolt will launch on Thursday April 14 and new users can get up to £10 off their first journey by using the app.

Bolt was founded in 2013 and aims to offer a ‘better alternative to every purpose a private car serves’. While the company is known for its ride hailing app, they are keen to launch other in-app services later in the year.
