Two men dead after being hit by trains in separate tragic incidents on Scots tracks

Two men have died in separate tragic incidents after being hit by trains within an hour of each other on Scots tracks yesterday.

We told how one person was hit by a locomotive near Kilmarnock at around 7.12pm and a second was struck near Bishopbriggs at around 7.32pm.

Emergency crews were scrambled to both scenes but tragically the men were both killed.
