Inside tiny house on sale at bargain price of £70k that has made people 'queasy'
£70,000 has divided the internet.Located in Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester, the house on Spring Street has all the usual aspects of a small property, such as one bedroom, one bathroom, gas central heating, a kitchen and double glazing. And the exterior is well-presented with a stone built entrance. But it's not the outside that has confused Twitter – it's the very unusual interior layout, the Manchester Evening News reports.Specifically the location of the stairs, which has made some label it as making them “queasy”.The stairs are actually located in the kitchen, and go across and over the kitchen tops – meaning the hob is actually located underneath the staircase. And at the top of the stairs is a bedroom fit for a student accommodation, with hardly any room to swing a kitten, never mind a cat.Posting about it on Twitter, @Theeyecollector wrote: “Everyone look at this terrible tiny house attempt, only two rooms and they’re both the worst use of space I’ve ever seen - one for the rightmove hall of shame.”Claire Fiddle tweeted: “The stairs and landing look very dangerous! Too many cupboards!“The sensible thing would be a more substantial stairs and landing with storage underneath. To stay up to date with all the latest news, make sure you sign up to one of our newsletters here.“Even the kitchen as it is could be greatly improved with a surface under the window to use as a table. “The bed should be in a platform with storage underneath, or use a day bed/ futon so that it’s also a living space.” And @Runpaintrunrun said: “I bet every single thing in there came out of a skip.
