Tony Clubb has been suspended by Wigan Warriors while the club investigates the allegation of racial abuse aimed towards Andre Savelio.
The Hull FC forward made a complaint to the referee during the Warriors' victory over the Black and Whites, with Savelio accusing Clubb of making the remark.
A joint club statement confirmed both would work together to get to the bottom of the incident. Clubb was brought off after 17 minutes during the game and didn't return to the field, though head coach Adrian Lam strongly denied that the allegation was anything to do with that.
