Former Rangers defender Craig Moore reckons talks with Norwich City star Todd Cantwell show a "different approach" to transfer dealings. The England under-21 cap is understood to be in talks about a move to the Scottish Premiership side as Michael Beale looks to land his first signing as Ibrox boss, with Cantwell looking to kickstart his career north of the border after a disappointing 18 months in the English Championship.
It could open the floodgates at Ibrox as Beale looks to catch league leaders Celtic this term, as well as enjoy success in the Viaplay Cup and Scottish Cup.Moore noted that the potential deal showcased the difference in Rangers transfer dealings with the Hoops under Ange Postecoglou, who have found success by recruiting from the J-League and could also add Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors star Cho Gue-sung this month.
The Australian noted that Beale must add players who can add "creativity" and "flare" in the attacking third this month. Moore told The Go Radio Football Show: "It's a different approach from Rangers.
They are still looking at those players based in the UK who are maybe running down their contracts and looking at that cross-border type scenario."Across the road Celtic have heavily invested in Asia and Japan.
