Russell Martin admitted Swansea City have turned down a bid - reported to be “well short” - from his former club Rangers for Morgan Whittaker.

Ibrox boss Michael Beale has spoken of his admiration for the former Derby County winger, on loan at Plymouth Argyle earlier this season, and said how he expected the player, along with fellow target Todd Cantwell, to move in the January transfer window.
