Taylor Swift

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.

Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.

Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

With the energy price cap lifting in April, many households are looking out for ways to save on their energy bills as the cost of living crisis continues to leave millions out of pocket.

A new survey has analysed which appliances in our home use up the most electricity every month - and while some are a must-have, others may make you think twice about how often you use them.According to the study by electronics provider Freemans, the kitchen is the most expensive room in the house to run at an average of £73.91 a month.This is largely due to the necessary cost of keeping your fridge -freezer going, which sets the average household back £43.68 every month, BristolLive reports.Dishwashers come in second place, costing around £10.30, with a single oven in third at £9.36 followed by an electric stove at £5.20.Coffee drinkers may be pleasantly surprised to learn that these appliances come in at a relatively low cost, with the average coffee machine costing 73p per month and an Espresso machine coming in at 19p.A blender is the cheapest common kitchen appliance at just 5p a month.Other white goods alongside the fridge-freezer take up a considerable chunk of electricity usage - a washing machine contributes an average of £6.86 to our monthly bill, while a dryer adds £3.47 a month.
