‘The Masked Singer’ UK Renewed For Seasons 6 & 7 Plus Digital Spin-Off ‘The After Mask’ By ITV
deadline.comThe Masked Singer UK has cemented itself as an ITV entertainment juggernaut with a double season order for series six and seven, along with digital spin-off The After Mask.
The hit format, which originates in Korea and airs on Fox in the U.S., will return in the coming years via the rare double recommission.
Hosted by Joel Dommett, The Masked Singer sees celebrities dress up in costumes and perform songs to a group of judges including Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan, with one unmasked per episode.
Past winners have included Joss Stone, Nicola Roberts and Natalie Imbruglia. In The After Mask, produced in conjunction with Strong Watch Studios and hosted by Harriet Rose (Kiss FM, MTV, The Brits), there will be discussion and games about the night’s episode with the host and judges.
