The Trotters secured a 3-0 victory at the University of Bolton Stadium against the Shrimpers for their fifth win in a row in all competitions.

Nathan Delfouneso opened the scoring just before half-time before a brace from Eoin Doyle, including one from the penalty spot, ensured Wanderers picked up three points.

For the last three games, Wanderers have been permitted to use five substitutes per match after the EFL confirmed the rule change for the rest of this season.

Last weekend's victory over Southend was the first time Evatt elected to use all five substitutes, with Tom White, Lloyd Isgrove, Jamie Mascoll, Brandon Comley and Ronan Darcy all coming off the bench.
