'The Equalizer 3' Makes Second Best Labor Day Opening in Box Office History

The Equalizer 3 will reach $42 million over the four-day Labor Day weekend (Sept. 1-4), which is the second-best opening of the holiday weekend in box office history. The franchise’s third entry currently holds a 76% “fresh” critic approval score from 95 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, a step up from The Equalizer 2‘s 52% “rotten” score and The Equalizer‘s 61% “fresh” score.
