HBO executive has shared doubts of whether the Jon Snow spin-off series of Game Of Thrones can “go all the way” to air.Last year, the currently unnamed series was first announced by HBO, with Thrones star Emilia Clarke then seemingly confirming that Kit Harington will reprise his role as Jon Snow for the sequel.Harington then fuelled the rumour mill when discussing the possibility of a sequel in an interview early this year, but HBO’s head of drama Francesca Orsi has now cast doubt over the possibility of it making it to air.“We’re just working deeply with the writers to get it in shape for potential greenlight, but at this point, no, no determination on whether it can go all the way,” Orsi said (via Deadline).Discussing potential plot lines of the show at a Game Of Thrones convention last year, Harington said: “I think if you asked him, he would’ve felt he got off lightly,” adding of his character: “At the end of the show when we find him in that cell, he’s preparing to be beheaded and he wants to be. But the disappointing start for Disney’s live-action “The Little Mermaid” was the bigger talking point. “Fast X” earned $17.6 million in China according to data from consultancy Artisan Gateway. That was a 66% drop compared with its opening weekend, but still gave the film a $110 million cumulative after 12 days and has caused estimates to be further revised upwards. Ticketing agency Maoyan is now forecasting that the film will finish with RMB880 million ($126 million), having previously predicted RMB728 million ($104 million), and then RMB840 million.

Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross will provide the original score for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, as revealed by skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.The collaborative duo – who also perform together as Nine Inch Nails – recently scored the Pixar movie Soul, making the upcoming Turtles project their second children’s film for the 2020s. What a relief that the only votes being counted in the “Succession” finale were those of Waystar Royco board members. “Succession’s” series finale returned the show’s focus to the Roy family and their moves and countermoves against one another. How refreshing, after a season that was, on the whole and especially in recent weeks, cludgily paced and oddly unfocused. The polish and elegance of the show’s final moments stands in crisp counterpoint to a stretch of episodes that didn’t have the juice: It was as though the confirmation, at last, that the family business really would be changing hands reminded the show what gave it its elemental power.
