Tesco shoppers have been raving about a £5 meal found in store that they say is so delicious there's no need to fork out at an expensive restaurant.Due to the cost of living crisis, many people are looking for ways to save money - especially over Christmas, which is already a very expensive time.

Dining out at a fancy restaurant may be on the cards for you this festive season, but it's likely you'll be faced with a massive bill at the end.Thankfully, the supermarket giant has came out with a delicious "gourmet" alternative offering that costs just £10 for two people - working out at £5 per person, Manchester Evening News reports.Tesco is selling two packs of Finest sirloin steaks with a cheese fondue to dip it in, and shoppers are obsessed with it.

The 624G packs of Tesco Finest Sirloin Steak & Cheese Fondue cost £13 each.But shoppers can save money if they have a Clubcard, which is free to get, and brings the price down to £10.

It's a great alternative to dining out at an expensive restaurant, where steak and cheese fondue will typically cost around £60 for two people.
