Documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock, the creator of Super Size Me, has died at the age of 53. The Oscar-nominated film, released in 2004, explored the fast-food industry in America and followed Spurlock's journey eating nothing but McDonald's for a whole month.
As part of the experiment, he ate three meals a day from the fast food restaurant for 30 days and documented the impact on his health and wellbeing.

They paid tribute to the 'true creative genius' and 'special man'. Speaking about his brother, Craig Spurlock said: "It was a sad day, as we said goodbye to my brother Morgan. "Morgan gave so much through his art, ideas, and generosity.
