Strictly's Chris McCausland made a touching admission after his Foxtrot with dance partner Dianne Buswell, saying that he found it "overwhelming." The comic danced gracefully to Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy during the shows second week, following their Cha Cha Cha to Lulu's Twist and Shout for the opening night. The duo raked in an impressive 29 points out of 40 and earned heaps of acclaim, with judge Anton Du Beke paying particular attention to Chris' impressive timing. The pair were a hit with the audience as well as the judges, and they received a roaring standing ovation from the crowd.
Motsi Mabuse said the pair made it "look so easy" complimenting the smooth technique. Shirley Ballas gave high praises to Dianne's teaching which she said "was off the scale", and complimented Chris's footwork, saying he was an example to all of the celebrities.
Chris was clearly over the moon with the results from the judges, but joked he was "annoyed" he had been put on the dancefloor 10 minutes before the end of the Liverpool football game.
Last week's launch of the 22nd series on September 14 saw a slight dip in audience numbers compared to last year, with nearly a million fewer viewers tuning in.
