A Heaton Chapel mum-of-two has been handed a prestigious award for her debut novel - which she wrote using her mobile phone.

Halima Khatun, who wrote her book — The Secret Diary of an Arranged Marriage — while raising two toddlers at home, said the win was ‘definitely a surprise’.
