Starlink satellites were visible again in the Greater Manchester sky last night - and there's another display due tonight

The Starlink satellites were just about visible again in the skies above Greater Manchester last night. A string of bright lights have been shining in the night sky over the region since the weekend.

Many Mancunian's shared photographs wondering what the strange bright lights could be. Rather than an alien invasion as some suggested, the lights are actually a cluster of satellites known as Starlink.

They were launched into space by entrepreneur Elon Musk. The satellites are being used to provide remote locations across the world with low-cast internet.

Once again, stargazers shared images of the phenomenon however many complained visibility was not as good compared to the weekend.
