Military aircraft have been seen flying in the skies above Greater Manchester again. Since lockdown began, the RAF has been taking advantage of clear skies and empty runways across the region.
This morning (Thursday), planespotters were treated to a glimpse of a C-130J Hercules. The aircraft was spotted travelling close to Manchester Airport, as well as in Tameside.
It travelled to Manchester from the RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. According to a post on the station's Facebook page, the C-103J Hercules will also be operating in the areas of Prestwick and Guernsey.
