‘Spaceman’ Teaser, Release Date: Adam Sandler Takes On Solitary Interstellar Mission In Netflix Pic
deadline.comNetflix on Tuesday morning unveiled the first teaser trailer for its Adam Sandler-led sci-fi drama Spaceman, directed by Chernobyl Emmy winner Johan Renck, also announcing that the pic is slated to debut on the platform on March 1st, 2024.
Adapted for the screen by Colby Day, the film is based on the novel Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař, which was released in 2017.
It picks up with Sandler’s astronaut Jakub six months into a solitary research mission to the edge of the solar system, as he realizes that the marriage he left behind might not be waiting for him when he returns to Earth.
Desperate to fix things with his wife, Lenka (Maestro‘s Carey Mulligan), he is helped by a mysterious creature from the beginning of time, which he finds hiding in the bowels of his ship.
