A Scots Airbnb owner has been left devastated after puppy breeders took over and trashed her pristine Highland holiday home.

Tracey Parsons hit out after she discovered two litters of "emaciated" young Golden Retrievers and a horrific trail of damage at her holiday let in the Torbreck area of Inverness on Tuesday, January 9.The 55-year-old returned to the address after receiving a call of concern from one of her neighbours. When she arrived at the property, she and her husband were met with a "putrid" smell alongside excrement and urine on the floors, including "up every wall in the cottage".Tracey, from Inverness, took dozens of harrowing photos of the hellhole and posted them on social media. Her photos showed at least eight pups crammed in a cage with faeces and urine on the floor, while another showed more young dogs locked in a blue Ford Focus that was full of litter.Other images showed empty dog food cans strewn across a double bed, plastic bags full of tissues and dog excrement, and used veterinary equipment and syringes.Despite the damning set of photos, Police Scotland and the Scottish SSPCA claimed they 'didn't find any evidence of criminality' at the house, leaving Tracey dumfounded. She told the Record: "I am incredibly disappointed with the police and the SSCPA with their lack of action.

Our property was destroyed.“Rogue breeders are allowed to get away with this and until they are stopped, they are only going to continue.

I want the police, the SSPCA and Airbnb to do the right thing by stopping this from happening. These pups and other animals like them deserve justice." "It is obvious the occupant was using my property to sell puppies from - the fact a couple were waiting at my door to buy one proves this.
