However, Spencer and Vogue were invited to Jamie and Sophie's NearlyWeds podcast to discuss the drama. Interestingly, Sophie admitted that the situation between her new husband and his close friend impacted her so deeply that she was left in floods of tears. "I really deal badly with guilt," Sophie said on their NearlyWeds podcast. "I just stood there crying, and Jamie was like, 'Why are you crying?" Spencer responded with a playful quip: "I'm upset to hear that you were crying, it's nothing to do with you.
It's this idiot!" He added in a more serious tone: "To be honest, Jamie, you're my best friend in the world. I love you. I think that's why that bothered me so much.
For you're wedding, I would fly three times around the world because I care about you so much." Jamie also revealed in the podcast that he didn't send Spencer and Vogue an invite because he assumed they were away in Portugal, but he understood why they were so upset at the snub.
