Snapchat clip shows teenager Jay Slater laughing and smiling night before going missing in Tenerife
manchestereveningnews.co.ukA Snapchat clip has revealed what Lancashire teenager Jay Slater was thought to be wearing the night before he went missing while on holiday in Tenerife.
The video, taken on Sunday night (June 16) by relative Isabelle Price, shows the missing 19-year-old laughing and smiling the night before he vanished.
The clip was filmed at around 8.35pm in the Arona area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The clip was shared widely on social media, showing Jay, originally from Oswaldtwistle in Lancashire, wearing a grey sports top with a light green strip on the shoulders and a black bag. "All of our family and friends are so worried, we're all just praying and hoping he gets found soon unharmed." Jay hasn't been heard from since around 8am on Monday (June 17) while visiting the Spanish island for a music festival.
The 19-year-old was with a friend who he called to say he was lost and had only 1 per cent battery on his phone, before being cut off.
