Skyler Samuels Reveals If She Spoke to Candace Cameron Bure About Aurora Teagarden Role

The 29-year-old actress took over the part in the first prequel movie, Something New, which debuted this week, and will re-air tonight, June 11 at 7 p.m.
on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. In one of her many conversations, Skyler revealed if she spoke to or reached out to Candace Cameron Bure, who originated the on-screen character, at all. Keep reading to find out more… Turns out, she didn’t, and shared the reason why: “No, I’ve had no contact with Candace, and I watched the old movies for inspiration,” Skyler told Entertainment Tonight.
She added that “Candace has her interpretation of Aurora as an adult, and I definitely have my own interpretation of Aurora as a young adult.
