An Isle of Skye care home at the centre of a coronavirus outbreak had "sufficient" protective equipment for staff and residents, a Scottish Government minister insisted.

Kate Forbes, the local MSP and finance secretary at Holyrood, said it was the first question she asked after hearing about the alarming spread at Home Farm in Portree.

A worrying 28 out of 34 residents tested positive for Covid-19 alongside 26 of the centre's 52 staff.
