Coronavirus Scotland: Number of residents die at Scots care home hit by Covid-19

A number of residents at an Aberdeenshire care home have died following an outbreak of coronavirus. Residents at the Kirkburn Court facility in Peterhead tested positive for Covid-19 according to the company’s operator Barchester.

The home, which looks after the elderly and those living with dementia, supports a maximum of 64 people. However, it is not known at this stage how many people at the care home have passed away as a result of the deadly virus.Kirkburn Court is the latest care home facility in Scotland to have been severely impacted by the coronavirus outbreak.
