A six-year-old boy has made an emotional appeal for help to bring his father back from Uganda where he's trapped by the coronavirus lockdown.

Moses Makuza, from Newton Heath, filmed a video to try and help his father Lee Taylor, 40, return from the east African country, where he had been working with a charity.

A GoFundMe page has also been set up by Moses’s mother Sophie Makuza. Ms Makuza, 32, said: "Lee has been out there since August working with a charity called Smart Toto that provides books to children. "He was meant to come back last month but then needed to sort something out with his visa and then obviously everything happened with Covid-19 and the ports were closed down.
