Monty Python legend Sir Michael Palin has voiced concerns that insurance difficulties might put a stop to his international travel programmes in some "strange" countries.
At 81, the actor, who has been creating travel documentaries since the 1980s, thinks the issue could threaten his on-screen career and has a plan up his sleeve should this happen. "Insurance could be the end of my career, you know," he expressed at the Henley Literary Festival, as reported by The Times. "Seriously, an 81-year-old going to a place where there's active cannibalism or something like that." "Although you're probably safe at 80.
They probably wouldn't want you," reports the Express. Michael spoke at the event to promote his There and Back - The Diaries tour, in which he takes fans on a journey through "the most productive decade" of his life, from 1999 to 2009.
That period included him exploring The Hemingway Adventure, where he followed Ernest Hemingway's travels across various continents including North America, Africa, and Europe.
