Sha’Carri Richardson isn’t going to the Olympics anymore. The 21-year-old U.S. Olympic track and field trials’ women’s 100 meters winner, who tested positive for marijuana in a drug test, will not be joining Team USA at the event, the WSJ reported Tuesday (July 7). She had been disqualified from the 100 meters, but USATF, the sport’s national governing body, had the option to still select her to run in a relay in Tokyo, Japan at the 2021 Summer Olympics.
