scientists have reimagined a string of famous artworks in a bid to encourage people to donate their bodily fluids for ‘vital research’.

Glasgow -based human tissue biobank Tissue Solutions has reworked world-famous works such as the Mona Lisa and The Scream paintings - adding in swabs and test tubes, among others.

It is hoped that the humorous twist on each of the works will galvanise Scots to hand over their poo, saliva, tears, skin and other bits that they don’t need.

All of the bodily fluids donated will help to progress some vital scientific research and drug development around the world.
