Scotland to be drenched in two months of rainfall for next two weeks as lockdown heatwave ends

Scots are set to be lashed with up to two months' rain to wash away the lockdown heatwave, forecasters predict. Around five inches will fall across the UK with gusts of up to 50mph hitting parts in coming weeks.

At the end of one of the hottest ever Aprils, highs will fall 10C to 12C for most by Tuesday, following 18C highs across the weekend in Scotland.Snow will is even predicted to fall on some tall Scottish mountains this week.A jet stream from across the Atlantic is bringing colder and wetter weather with it.
