Scooter Braun is reflecting. The 41-year-old music manager opened up about his widely publicized acquisition of Big Machine Group in 2018, and the rights to Taylor Swift‘s first six albums, which she did not endorse, resulting in a lot of backlash and criticism. Taylor claimed that she was blindsided by the deal, and ended up embarking on a project to re-record all six of her albums as “Taylor’s Versions.” He would end up selling the catalog, and has since sold his company to South Korea’s HYBE, still managing Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. In a new interview, he addressed the acquisition.
