Rylan Clark has been supported by fans as he told them it 'can't get worse' as he helped them welcome in 2024. In a 'first' in more than a decade, the BBC Radio 2 star was seen taking to the stage and belting out a song with none other than Rick Astley to end the year and welcomed a new one on Sunday night (December 31).

Rylan returned to his roots - and we don't mean ditching his jet black locks - as the 34-year-old appeared as part of the 'Never Gonna Give You Up' hitmaker's BBC One show New Year’s Eve Rocks which was pre-recorded at the Roundhouse in Camden and aired before the annual firework spectacular took place in the capital.

Rylan joined Rick on stage and the pair sang their own rendition of You Spin Me Round. And as he celebrated the New Year with family and friends, former X Factor star Rylan, who shot to fame in the ITV signing competition in 2012, had a message to share on social media.
