The Queen's close family have all headed up to Balmoral in Aberdeenshire where she is under medical supervision with concerns for her health.

Prince Charles and Camilla, Prince William, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and Prince Andrew have all been called to the royal Scottish estate.However, Kate Middleton has remained in Windsor as Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are on their first full day at their new school, Kensington Palace said.The Duchess of Cornwall had been scheduled to open a new visitor centre for the Great Tapestry of Scotland in Galashiels, in the Scottish Borders, on Friday.

But a royal spokesperson said that both she and the Prince of Wales had travelled to Balmoral, and it was “looking more likely” that the engagement would no longer go ahead.The Archbishop of Canterbury has said the “prayers of the nation” are with the Queen. “My prayers, and the prayers of people across the (Church of England) and the nation, are with Her Majesty The Queen today,” Justin Welby tweeted.“May God’s presence strengthen and comfort Her Majesty, her family, and those who are caring for her at Balmoral.” Prime Minister Liz Truss said: “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime.“My thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.”Scotland's First Minister Nicola Sturgeon also tweeted: "All of us are feeling profoundly concerned at reports of Her Majesty’s health.
