Rangers have revealed their plans to honour Queen Elizabeth as they return to Premiership action this weekend. The Ibrox side host Dundee United in their first domestic outing since the long-reigning monarch passed away aged 96 last week.
SPFL matches were postponed last weekend following the Queen's death but the fixture card is set to resume on Saturday. Rangers held a minute's silence and then defied UEFA in playing the national anthem ahead of their Champions League clash with Napoli in midweek.
And now the club have announced they plan to pay further tributes ahead of the Queen's funeral on Monday. Rangers have told fans there will be a minute's silence followed by another rendition of the national anthem - with the club also producing a special matchday programme in the Queen's honour.
A club statement said: "Saturday's matchday programme pays tribute to Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to the stadium as Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be honoured with a minute’s silence and a rendition of the National Anthem."
