Owners of an iconic Kilmarnock pub are looking for new management – just a year after the pub's long-standing tenants vacated the business.David Little and staff pulled their final pints in the Brass and Granite in June last year after 18 years at the helm of the popular pub.The Brass did re-open under new tenants for a short period but has since pulled the shutters down again and has remained closed since. And now owners Greene King are saying a search has begun to find a Kilmarnock FC superfan to run the Grange Street pub.A spokesperson said: "Located within walking distance of Killie’s Rugby Park stadium, The Brass and Granite is unique, for an entire room in the pub is dedicated to Kilmarnock FC."The ‘shrine’ to Kilmarnock FC, located in the pub’s poolroom, features over 28 of the club’s shirts from across the years and over 15 of its scarfs.

Two giant club crests are also painted on the walls of the pub along with other memorabilia celebrating the history of Killie including match photos, squad photos and newspaper clippings of famous victories."A historically established and community-led pub that only shut recently, it is hoped The Brass and Granite can reopen in time for the kick-off of next season’s Scottish Premiership."That would mean fans who cannot make it to Rugby Park for matches, or go to away games, could make full use of the pub’s 32 TV screens, enjoying the football at the pub instead.

Prior to closing, The Brass and Granite was known locally as a great place to watch live sport."They say a Kilmarnock superfan – or couple of superfans – who know the local area and community are needed to run the pub and release its great potential. With the right individual or team behind the bar who have close links to
