Charles, Prince of Wales (Charles Philip Arthur George; born 14 November 1948) is the heir apparent to the British throne as the eldest son of Elizabeth II. He has been Duke of Cornwall and Duke of Rothesay since 1952, and he is the oldest and longest-serving heir apparent in British history.

He is also the longest-serving Prince of Wales, having held that title since 1958. Charles was born at Buckingham Palace as the first grandchild of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. He was educated at Cheam and Gordonstoun schools, which his father, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, had attended as a child. Charles also spent a year at the Timbertop campus of Geelong Grammar School in Victoria, Australia.

Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry has accused King Charles of blocking his dream career path as a young man.The Duke of Sussex made a number of shocking allegations against his royal relatives in his bombshell memoir Spare, one of which was that his father had destroyed his future ambitions.The dad-of-two revealed that as a young man he had his eye on several careers, none of which his dad had ever approved of.The 38-year-old had originally wanted to work at a ski resort, more specifically at the fondue hut in the centre of an Austrian village called Lech am Arlberg, before he more seriously considered becoming a ski instructor, the Express reports.In Spare, he wrote: "For several years I'd talked in all seriousness about working at the ski resort in Lech am Arlberg, where Mummy used to take us."Specifically, I wanted to work at the fondue hut in the centre of town, which Mummy loved. "That fondue could change your life. (I really was that mad.)
