Pots of kindness during coronavirus lockdown from the soup-er women

Community champions have come together in their hundreds to feed elderly and vulnerable people and show them kindness during lockdown.Hundreds of bowls of soup have been made and distributed by a determined band of women - dubbed the Ladies of the Rock - working in communities across the Bannockburn area.And heartwarming efforts to combat isolation are underway in Bridge of Allan, kicked off by local journalist and mum-of-three Katy Whitelaw.

She started a Facebook page around two weeks before the lockdown after asking if locals would be interested in helping to look after elderly neighbours in their own streets and those who would soon be self isolating and potentially would need help with shopping etc.Around 700 locals are now joining in
