Care homes across the Stewartry have been telling the Galloway News how staff and residents are keeping spirits up under the Covid-19 lockdown.Today it’s the turn of Abbeyfield Stewartry Society whose staff support 22 residents at Bothwell House in Castle Douglas and Strathdee in Kircudbright.The charity also runs its own care at home service providing additional help with personal care and medication.Operations manager Ann Pickthall told the News: “The staff team are second to none.
