Police have issued a warning about 'rogue traders' targeting elderly residents in Stockport. Two 'possible rogue traders' have been knocking on doors in Heald Green, offering to fix roofs and gutters.

Officers said the two males, believed to be in their 20s, have been targeting elderly people. On Thursday (April 30), the men were knocking on doors, engaging in conversation then looking at the exterior of the house.

GMP are now advising members of the public to let their elderly relatives know about the rogue traders and to 'remain vigilant'.
