Plans for more than 30 new houses in a North Lanarkshire village have been given the green light. The proposals for 36 homes in Bonkle, near Newmains received the go ahead from North Lanarkshire Council planning department.The site to the rear of Bonkle Road will be a mix of two or three bedroom homes and will see terraced and semi-detached as well as four detached properties within a cul-de-sac on Bonds Drive.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
