Philippe Clement reckons he's not busy with thinking about Rangers' point gap deficit to Celtic after late drama against Hearts. The Belgian wants his revived Light Blues to look at the powers of recovery against the Jambos as a reference point for the mentality needed to win trophies at Ibrox.

Rangers looked down and out after Lawrence Shankland struck in the first five minutes, before James Tavernier squandered a first half penalty only to covert his second bite of the cherry with two minutes to play.

Super sub Danilo then came in as the masked crusader to break Hearts deep in to injury time. And while Rangers managed to cut the gap between them and their rivals, who fired blanks against Hibs on Saturday, Clement claims he's got no business concerning himself being five adrift at this point.

The 49-year-old wants his Ibrox contingent to continue showing a never say die attitude and that trophies are bound to come as a result. He told BBC Sportsound: "It's a deserved win, if you see the game, the stats in every sense..I'm still in an observation period, looking at the players, how they react, how they gel as a team.
