The origins of the name for HP sauce have resurfaced online, after one person took to Reddit to share that it sands for the Houses of Parliament, highlighting a rather obvious clue on the bottle, reports the Mirror.Posting a picture of the brown sauce, they shared their newly learnt fact, writing: "Who knew that 'HP' from HP sauce stood for Houses of Parliament?
I mean it does have it on the front."The HP sauce label sports an image of the Palace of Westminster in London, which serves as the meeting place for the two houses of Parliament of the United Kingdom.
