Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD) is a severe form of PMS, often described by sufferers as “PMS on steroids”. And I’ve been like that for years. Aged 14, my friend went on holiday, and I bawled my eyes out for two days! I describe PMDD as like a sea of fog descending.
