East Kilbride alt rockers Spyres say it was a "dream come true" to open for idols The Jesus and Mary Chain at the legendary Barrowland venue.
The up-and-coming four-piece, who are all in their teens, were the sole support act for the cult rockers on the second night of their three date Darklands tour in Glasgow.
And Spyres singer and guitarist, Emily Downie, told Lanarkshire Live the "pinch me" moment was worth the wait after the pandemic repeatedly delayed the much anticipated show.
