New Wigan Warriors signing Jai Field is an injury doubt for the opening game of the season.The speedster has suffered a back strain and has been ruled out of this weekend's pre-season friendly with Salford Red Devils and will be unavailable for at least a fortnight, with head coach Adrian Lam admitting he could miss the opening round contest with Leigh Centurions.Field, who has joined the club from NRL side Parramatta Eels, will be joined on the sidelines for the club's only pre-season friendly by Oliver Gildart, who is nursing a leg injury.
