New CCTV image of man after Spar shop raided by robber 'weidling knife'

Police have issued a new CCTV image of a man they want to speak to after a Spar shop was raided by a robber 'armed with a knife' in Middleton.

The incident, which left staff 'extremely shaken', was reported at the store on Hollin Lane on August 13. The robber made off with £200.

Officers were called out to the scene shortly after 4pm. Greater Manchester Police say it's believed that a man attempted to force his way into the store armed with a weapon, which is believed to have been a knife. The shop was closed following the raid, while police and forensics worked at the scene. Greater Manchester Police have now released a new CCTV image of a man they want to speak to as part of their investigations into the armed robbery.
