Neighbour called 999 after Salford stab victim knocked on door pleading for help

A 21-year-old man who was stabbed in Salford knocked on a resident's door pleading for help before being rushed to hospital.

According to the resident, who prefers to remain anonymous, she heard her doorbell ring at around 11pm on Sunday night (January 6).

The woman, who did not answer the door for fear of her safety said she heard a voice calling out for help claiming they had been hurt. According to GMP the man is in a 'serious condition' in hospital after suffering serious injuries to his abdomen. Speaking to the MEN, the neighbour said: "I heard a knock around 11pm last night.
