NAGA Munchetty suffered a live blunder after she complained about the BBC Breakfast studio thinking her microphone was off. Naga, 47, was back on BBC Breakfast alongside Charlie Stayt today.

The pair covered a range of topics from both UK news and around the world. But as they headed into a VT of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announcing her decision to resign, Naga didn't realise her mic was still on.

As footage of Jacinda appeared on screen, Naga was heard saying: "I think it's getting even colder in here." A more distant voice - which was probably a member of the crew - was heard replying: "I'll turn it up" before the audio blunder was corrected and Jacinda's statement could be heard.
