Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell says potentially relegating Livingston would be “collateral damage” as he bids for an important three Premiership points this afternoon.A Motherwell win and even a point for Ross County at home to Hibs would see Livingston automatically relegated to the Championship next season.While Kettlewell has a lot of respect for Livingston boss Davie Martindale and everybody at the West Lothian club, he says his primary concern is picking up the three points at Fir Park.But he expects a ferocious battle from a side fighting for their lives.He said: “We’re all winners.

Everybody says ‘I’m a terrible loser’ and all the rest of it, but I want my team to win.“I don’t sit there with any sympathy, so to speak.

I have respect, but my job is to try and see if Motherwell can get three points on Saturday,“Sometimes the collateral damage and the outcome of that I can’t really concern myself with, I’ve got enough to worry about and enough to think about.“I definitely have respect for them as a team, as a manager, as a staff.

I think they’re good people, I think they’ve done a terrific job.“But they won’t have that mind-set. They will believe they can get out of the position that they’re in, which means our focus has to be really sharp this Saturday.”Livingston will be boosted by a 2-0 win at home to relegation rivals Ross County, which has cut the gap to nine points, with 12 available.Kettlewell said: “I think what we saw was an excellent result from Davie’s team at the weekend, against a Ross County team that I would probably suggest are a bit resurgent – they’ve had some good results.“For Livingston to go and get their clean sheet, score a couple of goals, then that would suggest what their mentality is.“Th
