Several Motherwell and Wishaw Citizens Advice Bureau members have been recognised on the organisation’s 80th birthday.To celebrate this historic achievement, the CAB was visited Motherwell and Wishaw parliamentarians Marion Fellows MP and Clare Adamson MSP, who presented Long Service and Outstanding Contribution Awards to Maria-Claire Cushley, a former member of the Board of Directors and Chair, long-serving volunteer Catherine Murphy and Ellen Donnelly who has been part of the staff for 25 years.Motherwell and Wishaw CAB Chief Executive Officer Kinga Kosakowska said: “80 years is a terrific milestone, and I’m so proud of all of the existing and former staff and volunteers – without their incredible commitment we would not have been able to achieve all the outstanding outcomes and would not have made a lasting impact in the local community.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
